My default was always Beast or Brawler mode. Felt more to do with luck than skill, especially as the camera and locking system are slow and clunky.Ĭlick to expand. Before Tiger Drop. It was actually really frustrating, as at that point, the bosses constantly dodged and my throws kept being blocked, so it just ended up being wait, X,X,X,X,Y,Y and repeating, until I was countered, put block up and drink when my health was low. Probably would have made the last three bosses a lot easier (I just stocked up on toughness emporor and used Brawler). Love booting bodies across the street after a run up. I haven't even gone to the cabaret yet in Kiwami 2, but the game looks and feels very different from the last two. Went out to go further through the game and find Majima, but got to a point where I had finished most of the side quests (though I found out that I missed an important one regarding Dojjmas wife in the Kiwami 2 flashback scenes) and just didn't bother going back to the arena. I was going for that route but hit something of a wall at the 3* stage. Felt more to do with luck than skill, especially as the camera and locking system are slow and clunky. I didnt like the way boss battles were handled,Ĭlick to expand.Yeah, that's powerful lol. I also wish they looked towards Zelda BOTW for inspiration on the actual puzzles (where you can use abilities in really creative ways to finish puzzles however you want) instead of forcing you to do puzzles in one way. Useless shortcuts, dumb re-treads and removal of stupid immersion and pace breaking sections could have made this among my favourites ever BUT that can all be fixed in a sequel. I would really like the Respawn to study why Uncharted/DS games are designed the way they are, because some of the game design is baffling. Im shocked that Ive actually really liked an EA game, the last that I really liked was maybe Burnout Paradise. I can honestly see them topping this in a sequel and easily, with a few changes. Gorgeous visuals with all settings at max and at 144fps. A lot of love went into this game, and you can tell. Its pretty much Uncharted/Sekiro lite, its not as great as either off those games when it comes to individual aspects, but the characterisation, story and gameplay was fantastically executed for the most part.

With that said, this game was the best game Ive played since TLOU II.

I have enjoyed a few, when I was a kid but I was never as enamoured as most seem to be with the franchise. I just want to start off by saying, I give zero fucks about Star Wars but I have seen the movies.
